We've all played games in our past that really turned us on to a type of game or a genre of games. These are games that you probably played in your formative gaming years..when you were just discovering what was out there and forming your opinions on the games that you were playing.

What were those Top 5 Games for you?

If you create a Game Post or Activity (those can be created by clicking the drop downs up in the top right under the "Manage" button), and then link that post in this thread or send it to @GamerDNA on Twitter, you will be entered to win a prize!

The Prize: $25 Amazon Gift Certificate

The Rules:

I'd try for this, but I'd doubt I'd win, so many other people are better writers then I am, haha.

Not sure I have a top 5, but Earthbound would probably be number 1.

Heres my entry. =) I tended to focus more on games from earlier in my life. Newer games may have influenced me significantly, but the early ones got me into gaming as a whole.

These games influenced my gaming habits for the rest of my life. I still find myself gravitating to the newest RPG release and love any MMO that has fast paced pvp.

@tekchip No. But the fact that some people still listed their top five right here during the entry period, and that some people posted entries after the period was over, and that some people just continued to list their top five afterward even still (people who did the latter most, by the way, have little no previous gamerdna activity and it appears very unlikely they're here just for conversation) shows that people just don't follow simple instructions.

Are people from outside the US eligible for competitions? Like a regional currency conversion of the Amazon gift certificate or something? Obviously, I understand it's the taking part that counts, but a little prize makes it that little bit sweeter ;)
