What games are you excited about that are releasing this month?

We're already into the Christmas release season, and over the next few weeks some pretty huge games are releasing. We've got Uncharted 2 (which has received GREAT reviews), Borderlands, Brutal Legend, Operation Flashpoint, and many others.

I'm very excited about Borderlands. Excited enough to use up a week of vacation time for the game. Most of my friends are going nuts for Uncharted 2, but I'm just not that interested in the game. I know it's a good game, it's just not my style.

Borderlands and STALKER: Call of Pripyat (If they both get released on time). Avatar looks good, although I'll hold off till I see some solid reviews. Tropico 3 is the only other thing I have my eye on. Everything else has either been droped to Spring 2010 or due to be released "When its finished".

Incidentally, have you seen the box art for L4D2? Wonder where they got the inspiration from.

It is out in the USA, I'm not sure if PS3 games are region free. I'll see if I can find some info.

I'm not 100% sure what's coming this month...but I'm definitely looking forward to Brutal Legend and have that pre-ordered. I'm also playing Aion...but I guess that probably came out just before October hit...still, something I'll be playing all month.

I'm still reserving judgment on Operation Flashpoint, I might just rent that one first, but I've pre ordered Uncharted 2, Borderlands, and Modern Warfare 2, those will all be great games I hope, plus lots of my friends will be playing those games too!

Brutal Legend all the way for me, even if I probably wont be able to get it this month. Borderlands I'm curious about how it's going to be received by gamers and the media. Something about it just doesn't sit quite right yet can't place it. The art style is fantastic, the amount of weaponry is jaw dropping, the open world setting and how it's executed will most likely make or break it in my eyes.

I have to say that, for me, it's Brutal Legend. I grabbed the demo for this and laughed. A lot. But, I am a Jack Black fan, so that goes a long way.

You've more chance of Half-Life 3 atm than Ep 3. Think of it as a Duke Nukem Forever situation. If it comes out suddenly, be surprised and happy, but don't pin your hopes on it.

I really enjoyed the Brutal Legends Demo. I'd like to hear/see more about OFP. I really liked the original PC version. I know the original Devs didn't make this but it looks interesting.

I just ordered Demon's Souls off amazon today. I can't WAIT to play it this weekend. Ima try and pull some hardcore gaming out and see if i can beat it by monday. I've heard its hard so i dono if ill be able to do it.

Hmm.. Demon's Souls ;D I already have it (and am waiting on GDNA to notice the trophy I earned yesterday ;P) so I dunno if it still counts as 'releasing' ;D I feel I should try this Brutal Legend thing.. and i hear people talking about Borderlands but it's one I haven't looked into yet XD

I cant wait for Forza 3 next week. And on the lighter side, DJ Hero. Tekken 6 looks awesome. PES 2010 is also on my list. The only problem is that I dont have money for them....

Looking forward to Dragon's Age in November, but no October games. I have my eye on Forza 3: 2 was great, but really just for the visual customization over the actual driving. I don't really like driving games. So I'm debating whether to buy it or not.

Yeah November seem to have a great line up, rather than October. Dragon Age of course, and don't forget Assassin's Creed 2. For October, Forza 3 looks great, Tekken 6 is too, but not something I would be lining up to buy. It's a matter of taste I guess. But seriously, Dragon Age looks really awesome.

Just picked up Magna Carta 2 and Brutal Legend. Now waiting on Tekken 6, and Smackdown vs RAW 2010. So there's 4 games for me in October.

i'm mostly excited about borderlands due to the sheer work they put into it...after playing through mass effect 6 times and soon to be more, i yearn for time expansive games...
